Capital Brewery was founded in 1984 and begun at the old Mazomanie egg processing plant. It is famous for its high quality lager beers and was named the #1 Brewery in America at the 1998 Beverage Testing Institute's World Beer Championships in Chicago, IL and rated #7 in the world.
