Frank Lloyd Wright originally designed the center that was eventually built in the late 1990's. BLUE MOUNDS STATE PARK - offers the highest point in southern Wisconsin, park campgrounds, cross country skiing, off-road bike trails, picnic areas and a swimming pool.

CAVE OF THE MOUNDS - Highway 151, Blue Mounds, (608) 437-3038. Cave of the Mounds is a natural treasure created millions of years ago. The Cave was discovered in 1939. Tour the cave's spectacular crystallized rock formations and shimmering water pools.

LITTLE NORWAY - County Highway JG, Blue Mounds, (608) 437-8211 - Little Norway is unique collection of Norse antiques and culture in several 1800's Norwegian cabins and buildings in a tiny wooded valley.

MT. HOREB AREA MUSEUM, 100 South Second Street, Mt. Horeb, (608) 437-6486 - Ethnic contributions by the Ho-Chunk, Scotch/Yankee, German, Irish, Swiss and Norwegian communities over the last 150 years make the Mount Horeb Area Museum an interesting stop. Free admission.

STOUGHTON:

STOUGHTON HISTORICAL MUSEUM - 324 South Page Street, Stoughton, (608) 873-4797 is in the 1858 Universalist Church building. Life in Stoughton is portrayed in the implements and artifacts of earlier Stoughton.

LAKE KEGONZA STATE PARK - Stoughton, (608) 873-7912 - offers park activities on 343 acres including an 80-site campground, beach, boat launch and boating, ice fishing, playgrounds, sailing, shelters and water-skiing.
