Little Norway is an outdoor Norwegian museum nestled in the beautiful foothills of Blue Mounds WI. The museum is on the National Register of Historic Places and contains the largest privately owned collection of Norwegian antiques in the United States. The buildings are Norse architecture, one has a growing sod roof, and mostly trimmed with warm, fresh blue that is typically Norwegian.

There are log farm buildings and the magnificent Norway Building modeled after a twelfth-century Norwegian church from the Chicago Worlds Fair of 1893. The building has dragon heads at the peak of the gables and contains numerous folk objects from both Scandinavia and America.

The beautiful museum landscape is a lot like that of Norway. There are several colorful gardens and a gift shop.

Little Norway is just 20 minutes from the Came Rose. From the Cameo Rose, take Hwy 69 North 6 miles to Hwy 18-151 West to beyond Mount Horeb and to Cave of the Mounds Rd. between Mt. Horeb and Blue Mounds. Turn right on County Highway ID. Go 1/4 mile to Highway JG. Follow JG for 1 mile to the Little Norway entrance.
