Taliesin is famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright's home in Spring Green, Wisconsin. Taliesin is the source of the ideas and techniques Wright applied to every structure incorporating the harmony of nature and surrounding environment into his buildings.
Wright grew up near Taliesin and much of his life unfolded at Taliesin. The visitor center, book store and tours offer a glimpse into the life of Frank Lloyd Wright. On a tour you will breathe the country air and view the magnificent panorama nature offers and Wright loved.
Tours run May 1 through October 31 and include 5 types of tours. All tours begin at the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center. In 1993 Wright designed the neighboring Spring Green Restaurant overlooking the Wisconsin River. That building is now the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center. It houses a book shop and dining facility called The Riverview Terrace Cafe.
