Belleville Community Park - Belleville means
"Beautiful Village" and is just 4 miles South of our bed and breakfast. Belleville's Community Park jettisons into beautiful Lake Belle View - a culmination of the
main and west branches of the
Sugar River. Lake Belle View provides residents and tourists a place to play, exercise and relax and enjoy nearby trails, surrounding wetlands, prairie lands, watching the herons, fishing the riverbank or playing tennis.
Aztalan State Park - 42 miles NE near Lake Mills, WI in Jefferson County. An important archaeological site showcases portions of an old stockade and two mounds that have been reconstructed in the park. The park is mostly open prairie, with 38 of its 172 acres in oak woods.
