The Veterans Museum maintains instructive exhibits highlighting important military events in Wisconsin history from the Civil War to the present. The Civil War gallery has a great diorama of the Battle of Antietam. Exhibits are subject to change.
The 10,000-square-foot Wisconsin Veterans Museum is located across the street from the State Capitol at 30 W. Mifflin Street, Madison, WI 53703. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m plus Sundays April through September Noon to 4 p.m. The museum is closed on holidays.
